Martin Praetorius is a singer/songwriter and a roamer through the ever-changing state of heart and soul.
On his journey, he prefers to travel light: he writes songs that only need an acoustic guitar and a voice to sway an audience.

Praetorius finds himself somewhere in the twilight zone between Roots-Rock, Folk, Americana and Celtic influences.
Inspired by some of the great songwriters, he follows his own style and sings short stories that aim point-blank, at the heart.

He has played his songs at the “Borderline” in London, at “King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut” in Glasgow, the Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, The “Arctic Sounds” festival in Sisimiut, Greenland and the Copenhagen Songwriters Festival.
He has shared the stage with Jesse Malin, Willie Nile, Anthony D’Amato, Joe D’Urso, James Maddock, Eric Bazilian, Vini „Mad Dog“ Lopez, Leeroy Stagger, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes and many more.

Praetorius offers a bunch of well-crafted songs from his latest release “Affairs of the heart” and many more, newly written tunes that evolved from his travels through Ireland, the UK and Scandinavia in recent years.

These songs have been recorded for the new album “Tales from the feverworld” which will be released in spring 2017.
