Dear bubble,
it’s been quiet here for a while, mainly because I wasn’t out gigging much. Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns and you find yourself adjusting to a completely different situation.
I also did more sound engineering than usual this year. Apart from being Lord of the Buttons in my favourite haunt, The Upstage in Northern Germany, I helped my friend Claudia Nentwich with the production of her new releases and was part of a team that worked on an album with an exciting singer-songwriter duo from Luxembourg.
Luckily, I have a run of shows coming up until the end of the year, and it starts with three appearances in my beloved Copenhagen, a place I haven’t been to for more than a year.
I hope you can join me at:
Blågårds Apotek, 12.11. – 7 pm CET
CaféParforce, Klampenborg, 16.11. – 1 pm CET
CPH Listening Room, 23.11. – 7 pm CET
I will also enjoy some desperately awaited downtime in Copenhagen, which is probably my favourite city and a place where I can be creative, because it never questioned my existence as an artist. You will definitely find me dissolving into the city at night, looking for inspiration and new musical adventures.

Hi Martin
I’m wondering if you’re the son of Walter and Friefericke of Goslar ? If so, my Dad, Fred Child knew your Dad when he was at Southampton university in the 1930’s and also visited my home in England in the 1950’s. I also came to Goslar in the 1960’s to learn some German.
Hello Janet
and a very Happy New Year to you.
I am only seeing this now, but I am afraid I have to tell you that I am not related to the Praetorius’ in Goslar.
All the best to you,
Martin
Hello Martin
I’m writing from England to discover if your father ((Walter)and mine (Fred Child) were friends during the 1950´s and also the 1930’s in Southampton England ? If so, I visited your family in Goslar during the 1960’s as I wanted to learn German.

Enjoy Copenhagen!
Looking forward to mailing list updates, as and when – no pressure
Thanks Dan, they will probably starting to roll in in December.
