‘Ricky & Vincent’ is a song that originally appeared on Martin Praetorius’s debut album, ‘Stories to Tell’, 30 years ago.
To mark this anniversary, he has recorded an acoustic version of the song, which was released as a single for the first time on April 2nd.
‘Ricky & Vincent’ is a little ditty about two young people who fall in love and then navigate the shallows and reefs that come with it. Back in the days of Praetorius’s old band, The Streethearts, it was fan-favourite sing-along with it’s bouncy groove and catchy chorus.
This acoustic version is the first in a series of releases from his back catalogue that will eventually culminate in the acoustic album ‘Songs From The Room Next Door.’
